POLICY FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY AT WORK

It is the policy of this company to place the health and safety of its employees, clients and members of the public as its highest priority.

The company recognises and accepts its responsibilities as an employer for providing management and supervision to ensure safe and healthy methods of work at all times.

This policy includes consultation and co-operation with clients and prospective clients representatives to enable our policy to be effective on site in areas not under our direct control.

The company shall strive to meet its health and safety responsibilities in areas such as the provision and maintenance of:

  1. Safe plant and equipment to the correct specification and systems of work.

  2. Safe arrangements for the use, handling, storing and transporting of equipment and materials.

  3. Sufficient information, instruction, training and supervision to enable all employees to avoid hazards and contribute to their own health and safety at work.

  4. A safe place to work and safe access to it.

  5. A healthy working environment so far as reasonably practical.

Motivation is provided for the company employees to implement this policy to the full., by illustrating how the company's growth is directly linked to operating safe systems as their future promotion depends on this policy.

It is equally the duty of every employee to work in accordance with the company safety policy. To this end, each employee must accept and carry out their responsibility to.

  1. Act with due care to prevent injury to themselves and others

  2. To report all accidents, damage to equipment and potential hazards.

  3. Follow the agreed working procedures, including the correct use of safety equipment and protective clothing.

In employee records, details shall be kept of all training and experience. They may not use equipment for which they have not received the appropriate training.

In employee records, details shall be reviewed as appropriate and any revisions will be brought to the attention of all employees. Information shall also be related regarding new thinking, procedures, techniques and forthcoming equipment. The company in turn welcomes suggestions from operatives and supervisors in the field.
